Nimble CRM is a social CRM (customer relationship management) with sales and marketing features. Nimble CRM is used for organizing and storing contacts, managing pipelines, task and follow-up reminders, tracking, reporting, sending and tracking outreach to targeted lists, and social insights.

Who uses Nimble CRM?

Most companies that use Nimble CRM have 1–200 employees and generate $1M–$10M in revenue. The main industries that employ Nimble CRM are computer software and marketing and advertising. Others include nonprofit organization management, architecture and planning, design, financial services, online media, cosmetics, professional training and coaching, fine arts, sales, management consulting, event planning, and real estate.

Nimble CRM is best for companies that need social media and marketing integration.

What are the benefits and features of Nimble CRM?

Nimble CRM stands out from its competitors through its emphasis on combining social media tracking and outreach, communication with customers, and marketing automation.

Nimble CRM draws data from social media platforms to provide actionable insights. Communication channels and recent social media updates of contacts are displayed, so users can then reach out to contacts via email or social media and can track interactions in one place.

Data is displayed in a way that supports engagement with customers. Contacts can be filtered by various factors like time since engagement. Nimble CRM also displays lists of interactions on social media that involve your organization, making it easier to keep up with the most current and relevant conversations.

Deal stages and pipelines are all drag and drop for easy customization. A deal dashboard displays important pipeline information all in one place, which gives the application the ability to learn which contacts are most important and keeps users focused on engagements with a higher probability of success. Reports of all kinds can be generated to gain insight into deals and customer interactions.

To make outreach easier, Nimble CRM includes strong contact segmentation and the ability to send group messages and mass mailings. This allows users to stay in the application to send messages, although it lacks the full features of a specialized mailer service.

Nimble CRM can even log and track customer enquiries to round out its all-in-one functionality, although it lacks the comprehensive features of Zendesk or Freshdesk. Companies with greater customer support needs may find that they need a customer service platform with fuller features.

Nimble CRM boasts more social integrations than most other CRM services. It has its own app marketplace with over 40 integrations, such as Zoho CRM, Zendesk, Constant Contact, Freshbooks, Evernote, HubSpot, and more. It also natively integrates with popular third-party business productivity tools such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Even more integrations are available through third-party connectors such as Zapier and PieSync. There is also a Nimble mobile app so that users aren’t tied to a PC.

A drawback of Nimble CRM is that, although it specializes in social CRM, some social networks, namely Facebook and LinkedIn, have shut down their APIs for CRM services and other platforms. This means that companies that use those networks don’t benefit from some of Nimble CRM’s automations or the “unified inbox” experience.

Nimble CRM works around the API problem with its Prospector app, a Chrome extension that allows you to enter contacts found in a browser with only a few clicks. Most of the information available will then end up in Nimble CRM’s unified inbox. While not as smooth as Nimble’s process for other social media applications, this workaround for lack of API is still more streamlined than many competitors.

Some of Nimble’s other weaker points include a lack of email tracking, and compared to some other CRMs on the market, it has fewer features in terms of project management, marketing automation, autoresponders, and email from within the application. Fewer contacts are allowed than some competitors as well.

Nimble offers a simple pricing scheme relative to competitors, a 14-day free trial, and comes in at the less expensive end of the CRM spectrum.
