Biometric Characteristic

A biometric characteristic is any distinguishing characteristics of an individual that can be measured and extracted from a biometric sample for the purpose of biometricidentification. Biometric characteristics may include a fingerprint, signature, voice pattern, ear form, DNA or other distinguishing characteristic.
