BYOC – Bring Your Own Computer

BYOC is short for bring your own computer. BYOC is a common phrase used by gamers when attending a multiplayer gaming event (often called LAN parties). BYOC is where gamers are asked to bring their own computer and hook it up to the networkto take part in the multiplayer PC gaming event.

BYOC (Cloud)

BYOC also refers to Bring Your Own Cloud or Build Your Own Cloud, a term applying to corporate employees that utilize their own personal clouds or third-party cloud services as opposed to their company’s own cloud services.
