In the Windows 10 operating system, Action Center stores and displays notifications from software and applications running on your desktop computer or mobile device. Some notifications you may find saved here include important software updates, social media notifications, email, calendar and scheduled events, security messages and more.

Customize the Action Center

To open the Action Center you can press the Windows key and A simultaneously on the keyboard or from a touchscreen device swipe inwards from the far right edge of the screen.

To customize the notifications that appear, or to turn any Action Center notifications off, you need to open Settings > System > Notifications and Actions. Here, a list of all installed applications with notifications can be individually customized.
