Short for BSD, Apache, MySQL, Perl/Python/PHP BAMP is an open source Web development platform that is a variation to the LAMP stack. BAMP uses BSD as the operating system, Apache as the Web server, MySQL as the RDBMS, and PHP as the object-oriented scripting language. Perl or Pythonmay be substituted for PHP.
