MLC
Short for multi-level cell MLC is a type of NAND flash memory that is commonly found in standard USB cards. MLC works by storing three or more bits in each cell that requires higher power consumption and slower transfer speeds but it results in cheaper cards, when compared to single-level cell (SLC) cards.
