    Digital Access and Cross-Connect System (DACS)

    A digital switching device in telecommunications for routing T1 lines. The DACS can cross-connect any T1 line in the systemwith any other T1 line also in the system. DACS can also connect any DS-0 channel or group of channels on a T1 line to any DS-0 time slots of any other line.
