A phrase that is becoming more commonly used to describe a new generation of
LCD monitors that have a built-in
digital media player. This feature enables users to copy a movie or music to a
USB flash drive, which can then be plugged into the monitor’s
USB port, allowing you to watch the media right from your
monitor, instead of booting up your
computer system to play the media. This feature is increasing found on new monitors that offer
HDTV and
wide-screen viewing
ratio.
