NVOD
Short for Near Video on Demand, NVOD is a technique used in digital televisionby the cable or satellite service to offer the same feature film on different channels at different, staggered start times. The idea is that viewers are never more than 20 minutes away from the start of the film and as such, are more likely to purchase the film through the provider.
