The Ubuntu Certified Professional (also called Ubuntu Professional) is a training certification. The course covers key Linux fundamentals and is suitable for those with a Microsoft systems administration background.
The Ubuntu Certified Professional (also called Ubuntu Professional) is a training certification based on LPI level 1. The certification tests the candidate's ability to:
- Configure a network of Ubuntu systems
- Understand security and package management fundamentals
- Perform key maintenance tasks.
The course covers key Linux fundamentals and is suitable for those with a Microsoft systems administration background.
To earn the Ubuntu Professional Certification, candidates are required to have a good overall knowledge of IT and systems administration of other operating systems and at least six months' relevant work experience. Qualification is based on a five day course will provide participants with the skills they need to deploy and configure Ubuntu within the office. It introduces participants to the basic skills required of Ubuntu systems administrators.
