DLS
Short for Distributed Link Software it is a hypermedia link service that can be used to provide links for users on the World Wide Web. In the same way that a client connects to a remote Web server to access a document, DLS allows the client to connect to a link server to request a set of links to apply to the data in a document. The link service is mediated by the WWW in HTTP messages, and implemented by CGI processes located on Web servers.WEBOPEDIA NEWS
