Windows CardSpace is a Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.0 software client that’s designed to let users provide their digital identity to online services in a simple, secure and trusted way. It’s an identity selector that pops up when a user needs to authenticate to a Web site or a Web service. CardSpace was previously called Infocard.
