Slingbox

A Slingbox is a compact electronic device that connects to the back of your TV. It redirects or "placeshifts" the TV signal from your cable box, satellite receiver, or digital video recorder (DVR) to your computer or laptop, so long as you have a high-speed Internet connection. If you use the Slingbox in conjunction with a broadband Internet connection, the viewer's live TV stream can be placeshifted via the Internet to a PC located anywhere in the world.

Slingbox is a registered trademark of Sling Media Inc.
