SLDRAMShort for Synchronous Link DRAM, a type of memory being developed by the now defunct SyncLink Consortium. SLDRAM was intended to be an enhanced version of SDRAM that used a multiplexed bus to transfer data to and from chips rather than fixed pin settings. It was meant to compete with RDRAM as a future PC memory architecture but never gained widespread acceptance.
