Advertisers pay search engines to target their ads and only display the banners when relevant keywords are searched on by a user. Keyword advertising on the search engines enables an advertiser to target a specific audience. For example, if a user searched on the term "digital camera" the ads may be for electronic boutiques or camera shops that sell digital cameras. The meta ads are displayed on the dynamic pages that result whenever the keyword "digital camera" is searched on.
