goodput

In networking terms - for wired and wireless networks - goodput is used to describe the number of packets that are exchanged between the applications that use the network.

A more commonly known related term is throughput. It measures the amount of packets exchanged over the network to determine network efficiency.

Goodput can also be described as measuring the throughput at the application level.
