Short for electronic discovery, e-discovery is a term used to describe the compiling, storing and securing of digital information, such as e-mail, files and other data. Growth in this market is fueled by the need for corporations to comply with amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) covering the discovery of digital information.
