Deschutes is the name of an Intel Pentium II microprocessor. Unlike previous Pentium IIs manufactured with a 0.35-micron process, the Deschutes processors have transistor sizes of 0.25 microns. The smaller size will enable Intel to produce smaller chips with lower power consumption. The first series of Deschutes chips ran at 333 MHz.
